With the Winter officially setting and rumours of a mild snowfall too, I was more than tempted to snuggle in my duvet and not venture out at all today!
The temperature is hitting the lower end single digits (Read as 0 degrees) which gives us a chance to get our fur coats, scarves, gloves and everything else possibly spelling out “WARMTH” out! Thus explains me going through My London Street Style photos folder to pull out some “Comfort” images!
Considering Halloween is around the corner, and Tangerine has been the colour of the year, all the pumpkins and warm colours made me choose this picture from the London Fashion Week, when I was out and about clicking Street Style images.
This man actually reminds me of one of my very good friend back in India, Mohit Rai, who is a freelance stylist, and I can so imagine him strutting this off with absolute swan like grace!I would love to shoot a few images of him in a cozy knit!

Orange is one of the best colours to invest in this Fall Winter, for outerwear, Please see my trending board here for more inspiration.

This picture got my shutter fingers in an all time high at London Fashion Week.
I was truly trigger happy and as low as I stooped or as close I got,I never got enough of this MUST HAVE accessory this Fall Winter 2012.
Alexander McQueen RTW 2012-13 showed us these dramatic visors on the runway and then of course Anna Dello Russo endorsed it and Tommy Ton shot it..so it was bound to trickle down to most stylists and hold behold here it was!
If you all remember the textured tights post last month was a part of this look! Updating more pictures of the complete look as promised.

Also attached are some editorial and detail shots from the show.
In case you do have some extra cash to spend and be adventurous with your sun-wear..Click here to get these bad boys.

It has been an amazing week so far!
All those of you who are tech savvy, image diggers, social tweeters and are merely interested in the vast vast world of Social Media, then the Social Media Week is the place to be. With great speakers and people, the vibe is buzzing with creative minds all speaking the same language! I just happened to come back from a “Content Creation” event on the HMS President (yes that amazing boat on the River Thames) organised by this Digital Marketing agency called The Quad (who’s office is actually is the very same boat!!)
Been very inclined towards Social Media, and PR, I decided to be inspired and feature an image I clicked at London Fashion Week of fellow blogger Emma Creen, who has a blog called Mademoiselle Creen. Emma works for this uber cool company called PRShots which should be on every bloggers bookmark! I use it quite often while researching and writing articles for other websites. Please go and check it out, ‘coz you WILL find it handy!
I loved Emma’s collar with the studs and special attention to the Centre Button, with the little skull head. It is all in the details,my friends.. teamed with a very dainty paisley-floral print, the collar stands out even more.
There are quite a few collars you can get your hands on,I have one from Topshop.com but I am currently coveting this 3.1 Phillip Lim Metallic Leather Collar which is versatile and so very Chic!
Please share your ‘Top Notch’ Style stories!
Love,
Di xx

If you saw my last Monday Muse post on London Fashion week, you would have foreseen this week’s post to celebrate the glamourous style at Milan Fashion Week.
This week’s Monday Muse is Chiara Ferragni, the person behind the very successful Italian blog The Blonde Salad. According the Les Cahiers (The quarterly publication dedicated to Fashion Marketing), the blonde salad is FAR FAR ahead than that of Anna Dello Russo,Fashion Director-at-large, Vogue Nippon.
Having partnered with various fashion houses like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Phillip Plein, Chiara has carved a niche for herself and is spotted at most of the fashion shows around the world.
Albeit, Fashion is not her mainstream career, she is pursuing her Law Degree, which makes her a Blogger/Law Student/Designer/Stylist..Phew!!
Chiara teamed with Andy Torres of http://www.stylescrapbook.com and Carolina Engman of http://www.fashionsquad.com to launch a concept brand WERELSE which has partnered with MANGO for capsule collections. Together the 3 make the strongest blogger collaboration after the Schuman-Dore team.
Her style is Chic, Extravagant and very Luxe. A die-hard fan of sky scraping heels, this leggy blogger must have a wardrobe to die for!
Ps: I just discover this new site called STYLESAINT.com which is a must visit for Stylebooks. Check mine out here:

Quilted jackets are the best fall accessory.Teamed with basic jeans and nicely lace here.
What do you think of this look?

We all are preparing for The Great Gatsby celebrating 1920′s jazz,I can’t wait to watch it!
These Two Tone brogues are the ultimate accessory to wear that look.Clicked while stepping out of the car.

I spotted something similar on the Hobbs website.Indulge if you please:)

It’s all about short and sweet posts today considering I’m on the move and thanks to iPhoto and cloud,I can access my pictures from my phone.
I promise to write more once back on my desk:)
Meanwhile a teasing preview of this man wearing textured leggings with patent toe cap lace up pumps.
I love the play with textures, material and surface on the leggings..the usage of sheer fabric to highlight the detailed yet organic surface decoration.
What do you think,he could have worn this with? Leave thoughts behind!

Somerset House is beaming with Editors,Journalist,Bloggers,Models and Designers celebrating the most sought after event of the year, the London Fashion Week SS13.
On that note…I decided to feature one of our very own Brit stylista ELLE UK Accessories Editor Donna Wallace.
All through my Monday Mornings I come across various fashionistas and bloggers, and one factor common is the word STYLE. They all have a knack for combining layers/pieces with a flair of ease and confidence which defines their idiosyncrasy.
As with Donna, you can notice the androgyny speaking itself through the denim, the rolled up trousers with colour blocked coats, the sheer t-shirts combined with Biker boots, they all sit together seamless and yet undiluted.
Apart from looking effortlessly cool, Donna has great edits in her magazines, which I am sure you all are very aware of..See more of her London Fashion Week coverage here.
I don’t need to warn you about A BOOM in accessories in the following pictures, it goes with her title!
What do you like most in her look? Leave your comments behind.

I was very pleased to see Dion Lee’s collection at the London Fashion week. The year I moved to Sydney, he had just released his debut collection and all every magazine talked about was Dion Lee!It was only a matter of time I feel in love with his intelligent designs, intense pattern cutting and edginess provided through structure!
This year, following his first international show at London, he follows his collection with an eerie video directed by Lorin Askill, starring Ruby Jean Wilson breathe while Lee’s pieces come to life gradually!
As Mr. Lee says
‘It explores the core concept, which is breathing, in a really abstract way. I liked the idea of focusing on the breath and this more inward exploration of how breathing and the movement of your body are linked.’

The graduates of Heriot-Watt’s School of Textiles & Design in Galashiels, clearly looked elated after their successful show the night before, with buyers and editors loving their collection!! In case you want to have a look at their lovely little Obscure shop, click here:)
