I met my friend Chris Chasseaud last night for a catch up from our crazy blog-hobnobbing schedules and we started talking about this new label who he is the Brand Manager for, Dent De Man. I absolutely loved the new photo shoot…watch the space for more..and I realised I have been awfully slack in posting this image!
The first 2 images are what I clicked at London Collections of Toni Tran of Fashitects.blogspot.co.uk who is an Ambassador of Dent De Man and it looks as if he and Dent De Man and Toni are a match made in Fashion Heaven. The rest of the image are from their campaign.
It’s an upcoming label and has already created a buzz around with its eclectic African Inspired prints individually sourced, each telling its story.
It is a great change from the existing sartorial scene and gives a new twist to the Modern Gentleman’s wardrobe.Of course, you need to be open to work with prints in your wardrobe..New Year Resolution Number 31 perhaps?
Have a look and go “like” them on Facebook to know when they start selling online soon!

Thierry Mugler Spring Summer 2013 Homme Collection
At London Collections Men: 2nd Day
I stopped by the London Collections: Men’s venue The Hospital Club. The following few posts is what I spotted!

It is by far the coldest summer I have ever lived in! We had 3 days of summer in March and I think everyone’s sandals, shorts and SUNGLASSES came out from the back of the wardrobe, of course worn with woollen boots, maybe a thermal layer, and even a hat! So much for Summer!
This man combines a bit of both in his velvet jacket and exaggerated velvet bow, paired with some leather strap ons to work the ” Umm the sun is out but it is 8 degrees” look! I am currently reading One Day and in my head Dexter looks like him, with the undone hair, the CD sunglasses, the purposefully unkept shirt, the vain, ready to be photographer stance… of course Jim Sturgess fills the shoes pretty well in the movie! Sighh!!!
Have a see. x

I just found a batch of images which went mysteriously missing from my cards and my backup devices! (Of course saving it in the right folder would have helped!)
Thankfully I found it!!It was almost mid October, a beautiful sunny crisp days, when I clicked this image so the transitional clothing was a key feature. You did not want to dress up too warm lest you swelter in the tube, yet you wanted to layer up well enough to enjoy a good night out! (Well that is how I dress up, and it works fab, NEVER forget the flat shoes on a night out!).
I loved this guy’s relaxed look, he was walking with his mates, so was well chuffed when I asked him to bless my camera, and bless he did!
The Fedora hat and the Long oversized Pyjama stripe Shirt, with the Cool Navy Jacket (Loved the high break point..so fresh!) was just the perfect way to bid adieu to the loving Summer! If you guys are in a warm place, or want to revamp your ”in between season” look, this could be quite inspirational!
It is quite Bohemian meets Chaplin (He did have his trousers rolled up!)
Don’t forget the accessories either:)
Unfortunately I had the wrong lens with me, so could not get the complete look, but I have learnt my lesson and invested in a better lens!
Enjoy amigos!
Love, Di xx
